Puffin Croft - The Breck Peat Banks, Shins Cleave, Kiln of Flux, Stacks of Duncansby, Thirle Door, Geo of Sclaites, Natural Sea Arch, Duncansby Head & Lighthouse, The Glupe, Bay of Sannick, 'Groatie Buckie' Shell Beach, Ness of Duncansby, Robert's Haven, John O'Groats - Puffin Croft.

Flora & Fauna
Dependent on season, weather and noise etc, but we could hope to see some of the following:- Marsh Orchid, Carniverous Sundews, Cotton Grass, Sphagnum, Sea Thrift, Primula, Bog Asphodels, Field Mushrooms, Roe Deer, Rabbits, Fox, Owls, Pheasant, Grouse, Buzzards, Puffins, Razorbills, Gannets, Gulls, Kittiwakes, Seals, Otters, Dolphins, Whales & much more!

Available throughout the walk from the stunning scenery across the Pentland Firth to the Northern Isles, to the vast seasonal weather bearing skies above.

Tony (part of the puffin farm croft team), who moved to Caithness in 1997, an ex-commando and Army Physical Training Corps Instructor - A qualified Mountain Leader, whose walking experience includes ten years leading treks in the Himalaya.

Please Note

Terrain - Moorland, Cliff Top Path, Grassy Fields, Beach and some Pavement. It is path most of the way, but some stretches can remain wet and boggy even in the driest of summers. Due to the nature of terrain, weather and distance covered - all walkers must be physically able

Attire - Sturdy Footwear or Wellies, Wind/Waterproofs are essentials and additional warm clothing if the daily weather forecast dictates - better to be prepared!

Dogs - Very Welcome, but will require to be under strict control on certain stretches ie. around livestock etc.
